2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information: (a) Account information — your name, email address, and password when you register, or basic profile data if you sign in with Google; (b) Financial data — transaction records, spending categories, and account balances extracted from PDF bank statements you upload; (c) Usage data — how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration; (d) Device information — browser type, operating system, and IP address for security and analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide, operate, and improve the Service; (b) generate AI-powered financial narratives and spending analysis; (c) send transactional emails such as account verification and password resets; (d) process subscription payments and manage your billing; (e) detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; (f) comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. PDF Processing & Data Deletion

When you upload a bank statement PDF, it is transmitted securely to our servers and processed by our AI to extract transaction data. The original PDF file is permanently and automatically deleted from our servers immediately after processing is complete. We do not store, archive, or share your original PDF documents. Extracted transaction data is stored in your account and can be deleted by you at any time.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, hosted on infrastructure compliant with industry security standards. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive data. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only. While we implement strong security measures, no system is completely immune to risk — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Ixara account.

6. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Service, including: Supabase (database and authentication), Google (sign-in), Duitku (payment processing for Indonesian users), and AI providers such as Anthropic Claude (financial data analysis). All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) correct inaccurate or incomplete data; (c) request deletion of your account and associated data; (d) object to or restrict how we process your data; (e) receive a copy of your data in a portable format. 8. Cookies & Tracking

Ixara uses essential cookies to maintain your login session and remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. We may use anonymized, aggregated analytics to understand how users interact with the Service and improve it over time. You can control cookie settings through your browser, but disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

9. Children's Privacy

Ixara is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at hi@ixara.app and we will promptly delete it.
